For thirty nights I danced in Budapest to a sold-out house.
My comments:
More power to the dancer!
A sold-out house here refers to the packed theater, packed full of people occupying each and every one of the seats in the theater.
“House” refers to the theater, which, naturally, is walled and roofed as any house is. “Sold out” refers to the fact that all tickets are “sold” – “out” in “sold out” means totally and completely.
For thirty nights in a row, a dancer danced to a full theater?
Even in Budapest, that must be no mean feat – something very special.
