The Baihe River sightseeing district in the central city which has an area of ten thousand mu (667 km²), has been developed into a water city and a green city which are rarely seen in northern inland cities. It is a national urban wetland park approved by the National Ministry of Construction. The park has been given the title of "China's Excellent Tourism City" and "National Garden City" by relevant departments.
