SINGAPORE - Australian flagship carrier Qantas Airways has said that some ten flights will depart from Singapore's Changi Airport by the end of Monday.

Stranded passengers formed long queues at the service counters of Qantas, which has eight service counters opened to cater to the passengers on Monday.

Qantas resumed the flights after a tribunal ordered an end to the labor dispute that had forced the airline to ground its domestic and international flights on Saturday, leaving tens of thousands of passengers stranded.

Qantas has said that passengers who have booked Qantas tickets should not go to the airport until further notice. The management of the company and three unions are still locked in a dispute over pay and plans to concentrate on the Asia market. They have 21 days to settle their differences or face a compulsory arbitration decision.
