The Sino-Indian relationship is at its strongest since the People’s Republic was established in 1949.

China and India are the emerging economies of the most populous region in Asia. Both have long-standing economic ties and China regards India as an important trade and economic partner.

The China-India relationship has grown closer through the BRICS forum. China is India's largest trading partner, the largest source of imports and third largest export market. India is also a destination for Chinese investment.

To balance development, the economy, trade, cooperation and anti-terrorism requires the countries to join hands for lasting benefits. The high-level political visit will strengthen the inter-nation relation and it’s clear that both countries have a warm mutual dialogue.
