Nippon Express (China) Co, one of the leading logistics companies, has established a new office in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone in the Kunming city, Yunnan province, starting operations as of March 31.

Anticipating further increase in business opportunities in Kunming under the Belt and Road Initiatives, namely the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Nippon Express decided to focus on the Kunming market in Southwest China.

The new office in Kunming will aim at expanding Nippon Express’ market in Southwest China as a major transportation and economic hub with links to Southeast Asia. The logistics magnate plans to open more transport routes that cover Southeast Asian countries and provide customers with professional supply chain management and bonded logistics services.

Nippon Express Co is a logistics services company whose head office is based in Tokyo, Japan. The company has so far opened 37 offices in China.
