A product introduction and promotion conference for electric automobiles was held by Yunnan Wulong Motor Co in the Kunming High-Tech Zone on the afternoon of Jan 23. Preferential policies for electric vehicle drivers were also announced.

The cars were independently developed by a Yunnan local enterprise. They are stable and energy-efficient with an excellent safety performance and batteries that are capable of running for 260 kilometers after each battery charge.

Directors of the Wulong Motor Co invited attendees to visit their production plant and charging stations in the factory and gave them a detailed presentation about their electric buses, minibuses and commercial vehicles.

Zhang Xiaoli, chief of the Industrial Economy Department of the Kunming Commission of Development and Reform announced preferential policies for new energy automobile drivers in order to popularize the cars, including financial subsidies, a battery rental service and the construction of more charging stations.
