The final results of the 2013 China Top High-Tech Zone were announced recently. The Kunming Hi-Tech Zone ranked third among “China’s Top 10 Beautiful High-Tech Zones” and fifth among the zones with the biggest online influence. Several enterprises in the Zone were also nominated in the “Top 100” list.

Five enterprises in the Zone, including Yunnan Daze Electrode Technology Co and Kunming Pharmaceutical Co, were listed in the “China Top 100 Rapidly Growing Enterprises in the High-Tech Zone” list. Yunnan Walvax Biotechnology Co, Sino-platinum Metals Co and another seven enterprises were nominated for the “China Top 100 Innovative Enterprises in the High-Tech Zone”. Nine local entrepreneurs ranked among the “China Top 10 Entrepreneurs in the High-Tech Zone”.

The selection of the “China Top High-Tech Zone” is co-organized by the China High Tech Industry Herald, China Association of Science and Technology Industry Parks, and Research Center for China High-Tech Development Zone. The annual activity is aimed at boosting the development of high-tech industries and promoting technological innovation in China.
