Wang Minzheng, director of the administrative committee of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone, met a trade delegation from Taiwan on Aug 22. The Taiwanese entrepreneurs came to Kunming to attend the Taiwan Products Expo of 2014.

Wang warmly welcomed his guests and outlined the zone's development in recent years. He said that the bio-industries, non-ferrous metal industries and IT industries in the zone are among the top ones in China. Kunming has been developing rapidly in recent years thanks to its rich natural resources and unique geographical advantages. The Kunming Hi-Tech Zone is a promising land for Taiwan’s enterprises to better develop in the Chinese mainland.

Wang promised that the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone would make the best investment environment and provide the Taiwanese enterprises in the zone with superior services to advance cooperation between the two, which will promote the development of both sides.

The trade delegation from Taiwan also visited Yunnan Cloud Computing Center and Longrun Group in the zone.
