An investigating group came to Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone on Friday to investigate the construction situation of Huangma expressway. Amongst them were Wang Minzheng, director of the zone, He Bo, deputy mayor of Kunming, and departmental directors.

During the investigation, the group looked into the construction of the expressway's beginning section and the section in the hi-tech zone. Afterwards, the group attended a meeting to discuss problems in the construction, financing, location of service areas, land acquisition, and land distribution. Wang said that all the departments should recognize the importance of the construction of Huangma expressway and enhance cooperation among departments to make sure that the construction would be completed on schedule.

Huangma expressway is planned for completion in 2015. It will act as a junction of the Kunming-Yuxi expressway, Kunming-Shilin expressway, and Kunming-Qujing expressway and will become an important passage between the city center of Kunming and the hi-tech zone.
