Yunnan Origin Water Technology Company is a high-tech enterprise, co-founded by the Yunnan Water Industry Investment and Development Company and Beijing Origin Water Technology Company, aimed at solving the environmental problems of polluted water, water scarcity and water safety by self-innovated membrane bio-reactor (MBR) technology which has taken a leading position worldwide.

Origin Water's business covers the entire water industrial chain, including membrane technology research and development and membrane equipment production, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, solid waste and sludge treatment, drinking water treatment, seawater desalination, water engineering building and construction, water industry investment and financing and domestic and commercial water reclamation facilities.

Yunnan Origin Water at present aims to provide the techniques, capital, and products that are needed by Dianchi Lake pollution control project based on the actual conditions of the lake and with the help of MBR technology. Next step, Yunnan Origin Water plans to support the water industry development of nine plateau lakes in Yunnan. Also, the enterprise plans to expand their market in Southeast Asia.
