The park focuses on the development of nonferrous metals, the chemical industry and fine chemical industry, and has a planning area of 50 square kilometers, consisting of 26.4 sq km for local companies and 23.6 sq km for the east area of Baiyin High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

Its stretches from Baiyin district's Wangxian town and Jingyuan county's Liuchuang town in the east to Yinguang Chemicals Co in the west, and from Liubai (Liuzhaike village to east Baiyin) highway in the south to the mountainous region in the north.
