National High-tech?and Economic and Technological Development Zones

1. Lanzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone focuses on the development of new energy, energy conservation, the environmental protection industry, new materials, the biological engineering industry, new medicines, electronic information, the cultural creative industry, and other related supporting industries to extend the industrial chain and cultivate industrial clusters.

2. Lanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone focuses on the development of the advanced equipment manufacturing industry, the fine chemical industry, the modern logistics industry as well as related supporting industries building the development demonstration zone, the export-oriented industry cluster, and the export processing trade zone.

3. Baiyin High-Tech Industrial Development Zone focuses on the development of fine chemicals, new energy materials, non-ferrous and rare earth materials, bio-medicine and medical equipment, and wind power equipment manufacturing industries. It aims to establish three bases of chemicals and fine chemicals, new energy and new materials, and biological medicines and to build an environment-friendly park and national high-tech industrial development zone.
