Li Shufu: There is no essential distinction between internet companies and automakers in internet automobile manufacturing
李書福：在互聯(lián)網(wǎng)汽車制造方面，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)公司和汽車公司沒有本質(zhì)上的區(qū)別

Li Shufu, chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, said it is wrong to set automakers against internet companies, according to a report by zjol.com.cn.
據(jù)浙江在線網(wǎng)報(bào)道，吉利集團(tuán)董事長李書福稱，不能把汽車公司和互聯(lián)網(wǎng)公司對(duì)立起來、切割開來。

Speaking at the sideline of third World Internet Conference, Li said: "There is no essential distinction between internet companies and automakers in internet automobile manufacturing, and internet technologies are being already used by car companies".
李書福在第三屆世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)記者招待會(huì)上表示：“在互聯(lián)網(wǎng)汽車制造這件事情上，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)公司和汽車公司沒有本質(zhì)上的區(qū)別，汽車公司內(nèi)部都有互聯(lián)網(wǎng)部門?！?/p>

Li noted that from the traditional car to the internet-enabled car, a leapfrog development is unachievable and it must follow the law of development.
李書福提到，從傳統(tǒng)汽車到互聯(lián)網(wǎng)汽車，無法簡單跨越發(fā)展，必須按規(guī)律發(fā)展。

"Theoretically, the real internet car must be a highly electric car, which means without electricity the internet-enabled vehicle will not work, not to mention that it won't be highly intelligent," he said.
“真正的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)汽車必須是高度電動(dòng)化的汽車，沒有電動(dòng)化就很難實(shí)現(xiàn)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)化，也就不可能高度智能化。”
