"Before I lead a tour group to overseas destinations, we will make sure all group members have updated contact information for the embassy and consulate, just in case. Most of the trips were safe and we didn’t need to contact an overseas embassy or consulate. Most of the time, travel agencies have their own emergency plan to comfort tourists and arrange the trip back."
