Nobel laureate in chemistry: give young scientists more independence

On the afternoon of November 7, the 2025 Beijing Forum kicked off at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Co-sponsored by Peking University, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies, the 2025 Beijing Forum is themed "Civilizational Co-Existence in the Age of Digital Intelligence". In an interview with China Daily Youth Channel, the 2013 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Michael Levitt, stressed the importance of empowering young scientists with more support and independence.
