NEW DELHI -- Multiple schools in the Indian capital territory, Delhi, on Saturday received bomb threats, prompting authorities to rush police teams and bomb disposal squads to these educational institutions, officials said.
The threats turned out to be hoaxes, according to officials.
Reports said students and staff members at some schools were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
The incident comes amid a series of similar hoax threats targeting educational institutions and courts in the capital.
