The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that it has no information that can be released in response to media reports about the possible visit of the United States' head of state to China next month.
The leaders of the two countries may meet as early as next month, multiple diplomatic sources told South China Morning Post.
In response, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a regular news conference in Beijing on Tuesday, "I have no information that could be released".
