Transport integration is being accelerated
In the past nine years, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway and the Beijing-Binhai New Area intercity railway were put into operation, and the Beijing-Harbin high-speed railway was completed.
The Beijing-Kunming, Beijing-Taipei and Beijing-Qinhuangdao expressways have been opened to traffic, making travel faster and more convenient. The core areas of Beijing, Tianjin and Xiong'an are accessible within half an hour. Traffic circles of 1 to 1.5 hours in major cities of the Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei region are forming at a faster pace.
