Known for its naturalistic description of the lifestyles, aesthetics, and social relations of 18th-century China, the work is hailed as one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese Literature.
Literature is like the metaverse and reading nurtures the imagination. Chen remarked that Dream of the Red Chamber embodies the spirit of classical Chinese life where elegance and exquisiteness were innate, rather than pursued. By infusing the aesthetics that were popular among the upper class in Cao’s work with modern designs, the American Chinese couturier created this collection.
