A telecom service center, led by China Mobile, built 13 new 5G base stations to offer help the city with digital services, including processing data gathered from mass nucleic acid tests and conducting online exams for students.

In terms of goods, the China Resources Group bolstered the supply of medical resources, construction materials and everyday essentials between the mainland and Hong Kong. They provided over 6,000 precast concrete components and another 12,600 square tons of concrete to the isolation facility project in Yuen Long, which has been completed, as well as the Kai Tak project.

A travel service center, founded by China Tourism Group, facilitated transport and accommodations for the construction workers and medical staff from the mainland who were dispatched to aid Hong Kong. So far, it has allocated hotels for over 800 personnel.

As a vital part of the fight against the pandemic, over 800,000 nucleic acid tests for Hong Kong residents have been conducted by a service center established by the China Certification and Inspection Group, adding muscle to the effort to stop the spread of the virus.

The China Merchants Group has also contributed to the joint effort to aid Hong Kong. Its logistics service center carried out over 75 percent of the logistics for the construction of the facilities at Penny's Bay and Kai Tak, and has transported over 470,000 tons of daily necessities for the Hong Kong people.

While visiting the Penny's Bay facility on Tuesday, Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor expressed gratitude to the central government and construction team, saying the anti-epidemic capabilities of Hong Kong would be greatly enhanced.
