1. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 12 April, the following were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 108 confirmed cases (98 imported and 10 local cases, i.e. 7 in Heilongjiang and 3 in Guangdong);

b) 2 fatal cases (all in Hubei);

c) 6 suspected cases (all imported, 4 in Heilongjiang and 2 in Shanghai);

d) 88 cured and discharged cases;

e) 1,092 close contacts released from medical observation; and

f) 18 fewer severe cases.

2. As of 24:00, 12 April, among all the imported cases, 867 confirmed cases (including 38 severe cases) are still under treatment and 72 suspected cases are pending test results. In total, 1,378 imported cases have been confirmed, 511 cases cured and discharged, and no fatal case reported.

3. As of 24:00, 12 April, the following had been reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 1,156 confirmed cases (including 121 severe cases) still under treatment;

b) 77,663 cured and discharged cases;

c) 3,341 fatal cases;

d) 82,160 confirmed cases;

e) 72 suspected cases pending test results; and

f) 719,908 close contacts traced (including 9,655 still under medical observation).

4. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 12 April, the following were newly reported by Hubei:

a) no confirmed case;

b) 57 cured and discharged cases (all in Wuhan);

c) 2 fatal cases (all in Wuhan); and

d) no suspected case.

As of 24:00, 12 April, Hubei had reported:

a) 244 confirmed cases still under treatment (including 243 in Wuhan);

b) 75 severe cases still under treatment (including 74 in Wuhan);

c) 64,338 cured and discharged cases (including 47,186 in Wuhan);

d) 3,221 fatal cases (including 2,579 in Wuhan);

e) 67,803 confirmed cases (including 50,008 in Wuhan); and

f) no suspected case pending test results.

5. Between 00:00 and 24:00, 12 April, the following asymptomatic cases were newly reported by the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

a) 61 new cases (12 imported);

b) 28 developed into confirmed cases (all imported);

c) 55 cases released from medical observation (9 imported); and

d) 1,064 cases still under medical observation (307 imported).

6. As of 24:00, 12 April, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan had altogether reported 1,437 confirmed cases:

a) 1,004 in the Hong Kong SAR (including 360 discharged cases and 4 fatal cases);

b) 45 in the Macao SAR (including 13 discharged cases); and

c) 388 in the Taiwan region (including 109 discharged cases and 6 fatal cases).
