Protective supplies worth 940m yuan imported

China has imported 367 million medical protective items, valued at 940 million yuan ($134.4 million), for virus control since Jan 24, an official said.
Protective gear worth 286 million yuan had been donated from overseas since Jan 24, Jin Hai, an official with the General Administration of Customs, told a news conference on Wednesday.
The donated protective gear included 71.8 million face masks and 1.53 million protective gowns.
China has been importing an average of more than 150 million yuan worth of medical supplies for virus control each day since Jan 30, he said.
