Same-sex penguin couple adopt abandoned egg

Did you know that animals can adopt children? At the Berlin Zoo, two male penguins prove that adoption isn't only for humans.
Skipper and Ping have adopted an abandoned egg last month. The couple have previously shown their nurturing instincts when they nurtured a stone as if it were an egg.
If the egg proves to be fertilized, Skipper and Ping will be expecting a baby chick by early September.
