Sun, a retired civil servant, began to organize the trip late in 2018.
"I have been working out every day for 20 years since my retirement in 1998, and fell in love with bicycling eight years ago," Sun said.
"Every day I bicycle for about 100 kilometers except in the extremely cold winter. Doing physical exercise can help me keep healthy and in good spirits. And I believe my good physical condition will be the greatest support to my children" she added.
