ZHENGZHOU - Residents in Zhengzhou City, capital of Central China's Henan province, as well as nearby regions, can apply for a Luxembourg tourism visa in the city as a Luxembourg visa service platform was launched Monday.

The inauguration ceremony for the Luxembourg Tourism Visa Delivery Service (Zhengzhou) was held in Zhengzhou Monday afternoon. The service will allow applicants to obtain a Luxembourg tourist visa, with which travelers can also visit other Schengen countries.

The launch of the visa service in Zhengzhou will save money and time for applicants, as applicants previously had to travel to Beijing or Shanghai to apply for a Schengen visa.

The platform will provide services including visa consultation, form-filling assistance, information checks, tourism consultation, insurance, and flight and hotel bookings.
