Major powers agree on Iran resolution

WASHINGTON -?Major world powers have agreed on a draft sanctions resolution against Iran and will circulate it to the full U.N. Security Council on Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told lawmakers.
"We plan to circulate the draft resolution to the entire Security Council today," Clinton added in a text released by the U.S. State Department of her comments before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
The United States and its Western allies accuse Iran of using its civilian nuclear program as a cover under which to develop nuclear weapons. Iran denies this, saying its nuclear program is solely to generate electricity.
