Thai gov't decides not to declare curfew in Bangkok

BANGKOK - The Thai government's Center for Resolution of Emergency Situation (CRES) on Sunday decided not to impose a curfew in capital Bangkok right now, Aksara Kerdpol, the Army's assistant chief of staff, said. ?

The curfew's imposition might negatively affect the normal life of the general public, he explained.
His address to the nation was made after a CRES meeting, starting from about 02:30 pm, to decide whether it was essential to impose the curfew amid the ongoing anti-government rally in central Bangkok.
