First monkey training school opens

A macaque training school, the first of its kind in China, is open and about 30 macaques are being trained to perform for audiences in Dongying, Shandong province, reported iqilu.com on Friday.

The monkeys are dressed in outfits and perform in several scenarios, including Monkey Classroom , Exercise Class and Music Party.

The macaques, or snow monkeys, are from Japan and are well-trained by the animal trainers. They can shake hands, salute and do other tricks.
