Setting out from downtown Chongqing, our first two stands are Longtan town in Youyang county and Hong An Old Town, both of which are rich in tourism resources. The latter is known as the "Border Town” by famous Chinese writer Shen Congwen.

With brilliant history and culture, Chongqing has served as the economic center of the upstream Yangtze basin. People's Liberation Monument, located in the center of the city used to be the highest building in the area, but is now surrounded and dwarfed by numerous shopping centers. Besides the historical sites of the city and surrounding area such as Wuxi county, noted as a major tourism area of Chongqing.
