The three-day Escalade that includes demonstrations, tours, music and re-enactments, will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, and will be an unrivalled extravaganza. History fans can watch a demonstration of period weapons and walk through a narrow walkway to the remains of the Roman fortifications, which open just once a year on the Escalade.
