LOS ANGELES - Tiger Woods might have lost his swing lately but he has recovered one thing -- his magazine column.

Golf Digest is resuming Woods' column, which was dropped from the magazine in January as news of the world No. 1 golfer's marital infidelities hit the headlines.

The first of Woods' instructional columns appears in the magazine's September issue that hits newstands this week, but the star player is not on the front cover.

The column, titled "Stay tall in the Fairway Bunkers," advises golfers how to hit from fairway bunkers.

"He's back playing regularly now, so we have mutually agreed to publish his bylined pieces on a monthly basis," Golf Digest spokesman Bret Hopman said in a statement from the Conde Nast Publication magazine.

Woods' last contribution to the magazine was the January issue when he appeared on the cover with U.S. President Barack Obama.

The cover caused a buzz because it hit the newstands just weeks after the golfer's sex scandal broke and had the line: "10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger."

Golf Digest did not withdraw the issue, but later announced that Woods' column would not be published during his time away from the game.

Woods, a 14-time major champion, returned to the game in April, having lost up to $35 million sponsorship revenue as his private life unraveled.

With a divorce from his Swedish wife Elin now looming, the golfer produced his worst finish on the U.S. PGA Tour circuit at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitationals last weekend.
