Sunday's race is the 30th German Grand Prix at Hockenheim since the first in 1970.
Of those, Williams have won nine times, Ferrari eight and McLaren five.
Williams, who have also nine poles and nine fastest laps at the circuit, can claim to be the most successful team at Hockenheim.
McLaren have not won there since Mika Hakkinen in 1998.
Michael (1995, 2002 and 2004) and Ralf Schumacher (2001) are the only German drivers to have won at Hockenheim.

MILESTONES
Honda are celebrating their 300th Formula One grand prix this weekend, as constructors and engine manufacturers.
The Japanese car manufacturer first appeared in Formula One as a works team in 1964 and stayed to the end of 1968.
From 1983 to 1992 they were engine suppliers and returned as constructors with BAR in 2000 before buying the team and renaming it Honda Racing from 2006.
Tyre maker Bridgestone can celebrate their 100th win since they entered Formula One in 1997 at Hockenheim on Sunday.
Of those so far, Schumacher has won 55.
