Kourtney Kardashian showered with gifts

Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her "sleek, chic and elegant" baby shower with 80 guests at the weekend.

The expectant mother - who is due to give birth to her first child with boyfriend Scott Disick in December - was delighted with the bash which was hosted by her sisters Kim, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall and mother Kris Jenner.

The party at the family's Beverly Hills mansion saw a string of high society pals including jewelry designer Brittny Gastineau and Kris' good friend, comedian Heather McDonald.

Guests enjoyed a Chinois salad and chocolate-dipped strawberries as 30-year-old Kourtney was handed luxury gifts from her pals.

But her guests didn't go home empty-handed either - they were given Le Sport Sac weekender bags filled with We Pilates shirts and scarves, a bottle of Essie nail polish in a limited edition colour called "Little Baby Dash", a hand-blown glass personal tea set from Primula; a gift card from Sheila Kelley S Factor and an Alex and Ani expandable bracelet.

The celebration on Saturday (14.11.09) was organised by party planner Sharon Sacks, who said before the celebration: "The magic words I just kept hearing were sleek, chic and elegant."
