Jessica Alba is banning her daughter from becoming an actress.

The 'Sin City' actress says she and husband Cash Warren will support 18-month-old Honor Marie with whatever she wants to do in life - so long as she doesn't go into showbusiness.

She said: "I definitely don't want her to do that... Anything but that!"

The 29-year-old star - who regularly appears in polls to find sexy stars - also admitted she is too busy with family life to think about her appearance.

She added to E! online: "I never feel sexy. I never do, and that's the truth. I'm always wondering when my next break is.

"I want to call home and talk to my husband or talk to my friends or check on my daughter. I'm never thinking I'm sexy."

Jessica recently said she wanted to spend more time with her daughter.

She said: "Life moves so fast as a new mom. Sometimes I wish time would slow down.

"Every milestone is memorable, from the numerous wardrobe changes in her first five months due to her explosive diarrhoea to the first time she said, 'Mama.'"

When asked to give advice to other first-time parents, Jessica said to trust your instincts but still listen to advice.

She said: "What works for you may not work for others and vice versa. I have also found that it's more useful to stop and listen than to try and always have the answers."
