Liangjiang upgrades more iconic business districts

Business district is an essential factor in the cultivation of international consumption centers. Building globally influential iconic business districts is clarified as one of the six major tasks to fulfill in the overall plan for international consumption center construction issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
Liangjiang New Area in Southwest Chongqing municipality follows the international green, intelligent and human development principles, and is currently promoting the upgrading of business districts at all levels.
The Ring is a comprehensive shopping park in the Jinzhou business center that has become a new shopping landmark in the new area. Combining natural scenery and artistry with shopping, the Ring saw sales revenue of over 1.4 billion yuan ($213.64 million) and more than 15 million visits after just eight months of operation.
As business districts improve, their economic scale continues to grow as well. During the first quarter of 2022, Liangjiang reported a growth rate of 6.3 percent in total retail sales of consumer goods, higher than the Chongqing and national averages by 2.1 and 3 percentage points.
