Start-up loans available to people in five categories

Chongqing’s?human resources and social security department recently clarified the application process and qualifications for entrepreneurship guaranteed loans.
Registered laid-off workers, people with job hunting difficulties, ex-servicemen, college graduates and released people are qualified to apply for the loans. Individuals can receive a loan of up to 100,000 yuan ($15,000). The figure for partnerships is one million yuan ($150,000) and for a labor-intensive small company is two million yuan ($300,800).
Qualified people or companies can also get governmental interest subsidies. Loans to individuals and partnership can be totally interest free and those to labor-intensive companies can have interest halved.
Applicants must mortgage their real estate and have cosigners such as civil servants and public enterprise unit workers.
Small and micro companies must apply for loans in their registered and operational areas. Individual businesses can get loans where they operate or where their owners are personally registered to live.
