The Chongqing Urban Planning Bureau has announced plans to build a theme park with a 188-meter tower for sight viewing at the central area of the Jiangbeizui Central Business District in Chongqing, according to CNR.cn on July 12.

The park is to be located at the core of the Jiangbeizui CBD between the Chongqing Grand Theatre and the Chongqing Science and Technology Museum. The project proposes a comprehensive commercial mall providing sightseeing, recreation facilities and commercial experience.

A 188-meter tower with advanced entertainment facilities and a wonderful view of the city will be a part of the theme park. The tower is expected to be the first one for sight viewing and to become a new landmark in Chongqing if the plan gets approved.
