Pang Da Automobile Group (PD Group) signed a cooperation contract with Liangjiang New Area on June 7.

Ling Yueming, director of the Liangjiang administrative committee, attended the signing ceremony.

According to an official from Liangjiang, the project will focus on constructing car import supermarkets and logistics parks.

"We chose Liangjiang New Area to carry out our project because of its location and industrial cluster," said PD Group chairman Pang Qinghua.

Pang Da is expected to import more than 500 vehicles through the Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe Railway with a total value of over 500 million yuan ($76.25 million). Additionally, the first batch of Brabus vehicles is expected to be transported to Chongqing in August.
