HUF Chongqing Company finishes its Phase One project

Phase one of HUF Chongqing Company was recently completed in Liangjiang New Area, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.
Production will begin this August, with a manufacturing capacity of 2 million locks and 1.5 million handles.
HUF Chongqing Company occupies an area of 40 acres, with the total construction area of 32,500 square meters. The project is divided into two phases with the first phase being 17,900 square meters.
Construction of the project began in November 2015. It took only four months to cap off phase one.
HUF is a professional automobile parts manufacturer with over 100 years’ of history. With annual revenue of over 10 billion yuan, it has become a major parts supplier for established automobile manufacturers including Ford, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Mercedes Benz and BMW.
HUF is considering deeper cooperation with local Chongqing companies in an attempt to expand its market in western China. Its Chongqing company is its 21st in the world and its fourth in China.
The automobile industry of Chongqing has matured with more automobile parts manufacturers settling down in the area.
