Chongqing Mengyuan Aviation Club recently marked the opening of its base in the Liangjiang Aviation Industrial Park. As part of the base, the club will open a private plane exhibition center in Jiangbeizui, becoming the first one of its kind in Chongqing.

Those holding a current flying license, flying cadets or flight enthusiasts can apply for membership to the club. The club will provide services such as flying license management and regular physical tests, which will be carried out for its members.

According to a prediction from China Aviation Industry Research Center, the general aviation market in China will scale up to a 1 trillion yuan ($161.10 billion) by 2020. And with the rapidly increase of the country's average personal income, aviation has become a consumption hotspot, providing a good opportunity to the aviation club's development.

Relying on the development of the Liangjiang Aviation Industrial Park, Liangjiang New Area has been developing to have a complete aviation industrial chain, in fields such as research, aviation production and airport construction.
