One hour international transfer at Beijing new airport

Passengers will need only 45 minutes for domestic transfers and one hour for international transfers at Beijing's new airport in southern Daxing district, according to a plan published by the Beijing Capital International Airport Co.Ltd.
The arrival time of the first luggage from aircraft to arrival hall will be less than 13 minutes, said the plan.
It takes eight minutes at most to walk from the center of the terminal to the farthest gate. Parking, access, boarding and labeling systems are also friendly to those with physical, visual and hearing difficulties. All vehicles in the airport will use clean energy.
The new airport is due to open in September next year and the subway linking the airport and the urban area of the capital will start operation next May.
The airport, located 46 kilometers south of downtown Beijing, is designed to take pressure off the overcrowded Beijing Capital International Airport in the northeast.
