BOE marks largest global market share

BOE’s share in the four major market segments of smartphone LCD screens, tablet PC screens, notebook computer screens, and monitor screens is the largest in the world, according to an electronics industry survey of the first quarter of 2018 released by IHS, an authoritative market research agency.
The company’s TV display market share ranks second in the world.
Also, the Thomson Reuters Innovation Report highlighted that in 2017, BOE applied for 8,678 new patents, among which 85 percent were invention patents. The total number of the company’s patents available for use exceeds 60,000, with more than 3,000 new patent applications overseas covering countries and regions including the United States, Europe, Japan, and South Korea. The company has become a global leader in innovation.
