The key points of the plan of Shaanxi province for social and economic development in 2016

In 2016, the province will actively adapt to the economic development new normal, insist on the keynote of steady progress, carefully scheme the supply side structural reform, boost the tasks of stabilizing growth, adjusting structure, benefiting livelihood and avoiding risks, and carry out reduction of production capacity, inventory, level operation and cost as well as remedy of weak points to fuel the lasting power for continuous economic growth and have a good start for the 13th Five-Year Plan period.

The main targets: economic growth at around 8 percent; regional financial revenue growth at around 10 percent; urban registered unemployment rate at 4 percent or below; urban residents’ income growth at around 9 percent, rural residents’ income growth at around 10 percent, total retail sales of consumer goods at around 10 percent; and price growth at around 3 percent.

2) Strive to rebuild an industrial system that highlights innovation’s leading role and caters for consumption demands;

3) Further strengthen the new-type urbanization construction;

4) Attend the Belt and Road Initiative more actively;
