Demand for Grade-A offices in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, increased in the first eleven months as the stable economy has attracted more companies to set up their bases in the city, according to an industry report released on Tuesday.
According to a report released by Colliers International, a global property service provider, the online contracted areas and price of Grade-A offices in Guangzhou increased 28.1 percent and 14.2 percent year-on-year, respectively.
Demand for Grade-A offices were mainly from companies involved in finance, insurance, trade and information and technology industries, according to Chen Houqiao, a manager with the Colliers International in Guangzhou.
According to Chen, by the end of 2014, there will be 323 companies that have established their headquarters in Guangzhou.
