The China Hi-Tech Fair 2013 (CHTF) will kick off on Nov.16. Currently, the preparation work is ongoing. Every exhibition hall will have a distinctive feature to welcome visitors from home and abroad.

Major departments of the People’s Republic of China including the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) as well as other seven ministries, will take part in the exhibition.

The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM): The MOFCOM will set up three parts for the exhibition to display the innovative achievements and breakthroughs made through science and technology. At the same time, the ministry said it will put an emphasis on showcasing advanced imported facilities and hi-tech products to further enhance international exchange and cooperation.

The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MOST): MOST will hold an exhibition at Shenzhen in China’s Guangdong province to showcase the achievements made by the Chinese 863 program, which is also called the State High-Tech Development Plan. It intends to stimulate the development of advanced technologies in a wide range of fields. Sophisticated technologies like advanced resource technology and modern agriculture facilities will be popularized through this exhibition. And the hi-tech exhibition also makes a platform for combining science research and utilization.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China: The ministry has specially established a software and information technology services exhibition hall to make various kinds of software public. Its hi-tech services like smart robot and GPS will become a consuming spot.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the People’s Republic of China (MOA): The MOA decided to put forward a special exhibition hall to display modern agricultural processing fruits yielded through technology.

State Intellectual Property office of the People’s Republic of China (SIPO): The SIPO will set up an exhibition hall to showcase innovative fruits of the intellectual property right. It will emphasize creative ideas on environmental protection, and it will provide consultation services for visitors as well.

Chinese Academy of Science (CAS): CAS decided to showcase breakthroughs made by new emerging industries and introduce new emerging industrial products like medical robots and health innovations.

Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China: The ministry aims to create cooperation and exchange opportunities for talented people. It will be the first ministry to make the talents meeting outside the hi-tech hall.

Provincial level exhibitions: all have unique features.

Hunan exhibition group: Zhuzhou in Hunan province is an important transportation junction in South China. With such transportation advantage, the Hunan group decided to mainly display its railway industry. Twenty projects from 13 Zhuzhou companies will participate at the exhibition.

Hebei exhibition group: The Hebei group will join the exhibition with 35 projects, and concentrates on showcasing self-independent innovation like environmental-friendly and energy-saving products.

Beijing exhibition group: It will focus on electronic products, biotechnology and new materials. And it intends to do business via the fair.

Dalian exhibition group: The Dalian group will put the latest technological products on display, and will showcase the accomplishments made through self-independent strategies.

Shanghai exhibition group: The Shanghai group decided to stress the importance of the advanced green technology.

Ningbo exhibition group: The Ningbo group will combine intellectual property rights and the hi-tech technologies. The electronic company will showcase its sophisticated warming system at the hi-tech fair.

Hubei exhibition group: The group will focus on displaying its local industries. In particular, it decided to publicize the new progresses made by hi-tech technology after the 12th five-year plan and further push forward the technological development.

Jiangsu exhibition group: The Jiangsu group will showcase their strategic progress for the public. And it will attach great importance to demonstrate the developmental achievements which won world recognition.

Jiangxi exhibition group: The Jiangxi group concentrates on the producing sector and decides to popularize its major hi-tech products.
