China Pacific Life Insurance was established in November 2001. It offers life insurance products and services.

As a subsidiary of China Pacific Insurance Group (CPIC Group), it provides more than 200 types of insurance, covering life, annuities, health and accident.

CPIC Group was established on the basis of the former China Pacific Insurance Company, which was founded in 1991. Its headquarter is located in Shanghai.

CPIC was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Dec 25, 2007, and Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Dec 23, 2009.
