Researchers give giant panda Zhang Xiang a check-up a day ahead of its release into the wild at the Hetaoping base of Wolong Nature Reserve in Sichuan province, Nov 3, 2013. Zhang Xiang, 2 years and 2 months old, weighs 40 kilograms and is 0.84 meters tall.
