Huaxia Bank to issue US$1.98b bonds

 Beijing-based Huaxia Bank announced on June 15 that it has obtained approval from the People's Bank of China and the China Banking Regulatory Commission to issue up to 15 billion yuan (US$1.98 billion) worth of bonds in the domestic inter-bank market. [newsphoto]
