Comment on "Hu slams use of force, seeks Libyan ceasefire" (China Daily website, March 31)

Congratulations to President Hu for calling for a ceasefire in Libya. I only wish the rest of the world had the sense to listen to China in their efforts to develop a peaceful world. I live in China with my Chinese wife where I am welcomed as a part of their world. I respect the Chinese way and have come to admire their leaders’ attitudes. So why are other countries so war-like? Please let the world sit down and talk, the Chinese do talk a lot but it is much better than fighting
