A delegation from the Myanmar National Development Zone, accompanied by directors of the Yunnan International Economy and Technology Exchange Center and Yunnan Provincial Commerce Department, visited the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone on Oct 15.

The delegation first visited two enterprises in the Zone, namely the Sunpa Technology Co, the leading digital medical equipment manufacturer, and Longrun Group, one of the biggest biological resource developers in China, and learned about the development of the two enterprises.

At the later symposium, officials of the government departments outlined the economic and social development of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone to the delegation, and emphasized its advanced experience in investment promotion and industry cultivation.

The Myanmar delegation spoke highly of the economic construction and industrial development in the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone and said that they hope to enhance communications and cooperation with Zone.
